My entry into the wine industry was rooted in nearly a decade of experience in fine dining.
It was during that time, while developing a food and wine pairing menu for a restaurant event, that I truly discovered the depth, complexity, and creative potential wine brings not only to the table, but to a career.
That project sparked a lasting passion and revealed how integral wine is to elevating the dining experience.

When a large wine retailer opened its doors in Indiana, I left the kitchen behind and helped launch two of their locations over three years, gaining firsthand experience in retail wine operations.
In time, I realized that the business practices I witnessed there didn’t align with my values.
I found a better fit in a small business, joining Cork & Cracker in Indianapolis as their Assistant Manager, and supporting our sister store, Tasteful Times. These roles deepened my appreciation for independently sourced wines, my relationships in the wine industry, and personalized customer experience.

Life brought new opportunities when my wife, a physician in the Army, received orders relocating us from Indiana to San Antonio.
Faced with a new beginning, I knew it was the right time to create something of my own.
Now based in South Texas, I’m proud to build a business rooted in community, connection, and true love of wine, bringing thoughtfully sourced selections to South Texas.
